More Pics!

Ok let me explain myself! Sunday after church in Greenville, we came back to the house. Dad told us to get packed and dressed. After that all four of us went to go see dad's old friend, mom stayed to do laundry. The guys got talkin' and dad's friend told them that he was going to shoot some skeet(clay pigeons). So the guys had to come back to the house to get Nathan's gun. I stayed with mom because I really didn't want to shoot Nathan's gun 'cause it looks like it would hurt(12 gage shotgun). I saw that dad didn't take the camera and there was nothing else to do, so I took it upstairs and then did I realize that it needed new batteries so I swapped some batteries with my Grandma...of course I swapped them back afterwards! I was playing around with some settings so I finally figured it out...dark and bright, black and white, sepia, and color. I found the timer and I got my pictures done!!!! As my friend Krista said..."Don't leave you with a camera!" ;) Please tell me if they turned out good or if they stink! I need some constructive criticism! Hope y'all do (though) like them! I really want to learn more so any hints would be good!
I kinda like this one... I found the chair up there and wanted to use it!

I don't know about this one, the other one I put one leg underneath the other. This one I didn't that's why my skirt looks so straight!

I like these poses! I don't know about the Sepia, you tell me!

I like this one, too. You can see the color of my outfit. I didn't take alot of pictures of me because it just took alot of storage! We have a memory card, but I just didn't want to take alot of pictures.

Black and white...of course!

This picture I like because it makes the room look really dark which it wasn't. I played with the settings!

Now you can see how light it was! How did they turn out???

I'm Back!

I'm back! I am posting SOME of the pics that we took up there! I don't know what's wrong with our faces, so it's a little messed up. Our trip was fun, very cold up there, but it was a good break from the 105 degree weather. We attended my cousin's wedding and then we did a few other cool stuff. My Grandma Durham has 4 dogs of her own and then she watches three other dogs which are my Aunt Beth's. The names of Grandma's are Buddy, which is a big dog, and then three Chihuahuas Rube, George, and Brutus. Hope you like the pictures!

Me and Aunt Beth's dogs, left to right Hemi, Mercedes(Tater), and Sketter
Me and my friend Hannah.

Us Cousins... Danielle, Sarah, Me, Josh, Ryan, and Nathan.

Aunt Debbie has like 15 cats this is her blind cat Lucky, he is soooooo sweet.

We had a chance to go up to the lighthouse this time. I have been seeing this lighthouse from as long as I was born...this is at my mom's hometown in Ludington.

The Michigan sign near the Badger.

The other cousins, Josh, Nathan, Rachel, me, and Sara.

Gradma also has a cat named Precious. Me, Tater, and Precious.

Big Sable Point, no this is not the same lighthouse.

Again... Big Sable Point.
Grandma's youngest Chihuahua, Brutus. He loves to lick.

The whole family after the wedding, yes that's right...I'm not wearing my glassess. I took them off to clean them at our friends house and one stem came right off! Dad fixed just until my next appointment.

Before the wedding, Me, Aunt Beth, Mom, and Grandma.

Ma and Grandma. We got to match for the wedding!

Me and my little cousin, Eli. He's my cousin Sarah's little boy. Ain't he cute?

Vacation Coming Up!

Howdy y'all! Sorry I haven't posted in awhile! You probably won't here much from me, but I'll try to keep you up to date as possible when we get to Michigan. Monday we're going to be packing and cleaning so I probably won't post anything then! Tuesday we head out, and we'll probably get there on Wednesday. I'll see if I can post on Thursday, but I probably won't. I don't mind traveling, infact one of my ambitions is to travel all 50 states. I don't think that will be possible, but we'll see after I graduate or after college. But I think I'll just wait and see. ;) I already have gone into many states and countries. I have been in Germany(that's where I was born) and France. I can't wait until we get to Michigan! It will be a wonderful brake from the heat down here! I especially like both of my Grandparent's houses. My mom's parents are right near Lake Michigan which is a wonderful place to swim. I love it!!!!!!! My other Grandma is right near a river which is fun to walk by. We call it the riverwalk(I don't know if that's its actual name or not.) Well I better go! Hope y'all have a great July!

Independence Day Pics!

Howdy Y'all! Sorry for the long delay! Here are some pics of the 4th of July picnic. We had lots of fun especially three of us teenage girls. My friends Taylor, Krista, and Maribal talked for about three hours outside while"watching" the bee bee gun fight under some shade even though it didn't have much cool wind. Maribal stayed and talked with us for awhile, but she was part of the fighting so she didn't stay for very long. We had lots of fun talking of different things, but I hope y'all had a good Independence Day! Hope Y'all enjoy these pics I took!

This picture is one of my favorites! Before fireworks, the older girls sang, but then Krista and I came in and we joined them.

The teenage boys before we ate.

Bee bee gun war starting. Team 1

Bee bee gun war. Team 2

Me and Krista. Taylor didn't want her picture on the Internet, so she's not in any of these pics, but she was there!

Bee bee gun war. I think this is when the fighting began.

Team 1 again!

While the war was raging on outside, the adults inside were playing board games. This is one of the games that they played.

The other games. Now, not all the people playing board games inside were adults, but some of them were kids.

But you know, some of the games just wore them out! I thought this was cute, so I couldn't resist!

Dog Sitting!

Howdy! Sorry I haven't posted in awhile, I've been pretty busy! Wednesday, Krista spent the night, and then on Thursday, Lucy brought over her dog, Shadow! He's sooooo cute. We get to watch him until Sunday. Lucy and John Michael went away for their anniversary and we got to watch the dog instead of the kids! I wouldn't have minded to watch Mason and Cheyenne, but we don't have any baby stuff anymore, so it's easier to watch a dog! ;) Sadie also enjoys it when Shadow stays over because then she has a friend! ;) Here are the pictures of the dogs that I just now took! Have a great 4th of July! I know I'm kinda nervous of tomorrow because my piano teacher(Issy) is making me play piano... "My Country 'tis of Thee" and "O Beautiful for Spacious Skies" and I'm not really good at playing "O Beautiful for Spacious Skies"! Hopefully I'll make it through! ;) Happy 4th!

Shadow being a good boy!

And our dog, Sadie! Yes, she's old and fat and she has trouble getting up, but she's still a good girl!

What I am Thankful For

I have been doing my daily devotions and afterwards I pray. Well, as I prayed one night I thanked the Lord for alot of stuff and I decided to share it with you. I am thankful for: a house, many people don't even have a house. I am thankful for: a wonderful family, my parents aren't divorced or seperated and I have two annoying brothers. ;) I am thanklful for: a bed, animals, and the other basics. I am very thankful for my talent, I can read and write and I can also play piano, guitar, and the ukulele. I am of course thankful for owning the most wonderful thing: the Bible. I hope you have almost the same "thankful" list. Have a great week.
